I enjoy visual novels. I hope to write some, but for the moment, I just enjoy playing them. :)

My favorite visual novel above the sum I've played over the years is Ripples by Jestur. Of course, I'm a Skylar supremacist. >:) 

I also enjoyed Eternum by Caribdis. I've played Once In A Lifetime awhile back, and replayed it once again. It was perfect. >:D
